This four week hands on course will introduce students to the entire mechanical workings of the modern day bicycle. Following a brief lecture and demonstration period, students will have the opportunity to utilize their new mechanical skills on their own bicycles. Upon completion of this class, students will leave with a fully functioning bicycle and a much higher understanding of the role they can play in the overall health of their machine. Included in the class are eight hours of instructor directed shop time and a 10% discount on all parts purchased through the duration of the class. Two sessions will be offered this year, the first starting Monday, January 9th and the second beginning Wednesday, January 11th. Class sessions will run from 6pm until 8pm. Tuition is $150 and registration is limited to eight students per session on a first come first serve basis. Last year’s registration filled up quickly, so don’t delay.
